Isha Koppikar teaches women police personnel Korean martial art

HYDERABAD: Bollywood actress and martial arts enthusiast Isha Koppikar became a teacher on Wednesday, providing self-defence training to women police personnel of Rachakonda. Rachakonda police celebrated International women’s day by empowering women police physically with ‘Hapkido’(a Korean marial art).

“It improves self-defence and develops self- confidence in women police personal. This training will be helpful for women police in their daily duties like catching the criminals and arresting the accused,” Isha Koppikar said. Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh M Bhagavat said that police self-defence is a vital component of officer survival training.
