Paramour arrested for murder after a year

In the process of continuing his relationship with a married woman, a man from Tenali allegedly killed her husband and buried the body in a secluded place in Dundigal.

HYDERABAD: In the process of continuing his relationship with a married woman, a man from Tenali allegedly killed her husband and buried the body in a secluded place in Dundigal. However, his luck ran out almost a year-and-half later when he was caught in a theft case by Begumpet police. During questioning, he reportedly confessed of having committed the murder. According to Dundigal police, P Ravinder (27), a native of Tenali along with his wife and two children migrated to city for livelihood in 2014 and lived in Bahadurpalli area in Dundigal.
Meantime, one Yashovardhan of Tenali also had come to Hyderabad for livelihood and he became friends with Ravinder’s family.
Ravinder was involved in thefts and was arrested by police of Hyderabad and Cyberabad in several instances.

Recently, Begumpet police who was searching for Ravinder in an old case kept vigil on his wife Padma. They noticed several incoming and outgoing calls from Padma’s mobile number to Yashovardhan. The latter was picked up by the police with suspicion and during questioning he confessed about killing Ravinder to continue his affair with Padma.

“Yashovardhan developed illegal relationship with Padma when her husband was in jail. After getting released, Ravinder learnt about his wife’s extra marital relationship and hatched a plan to kill Yashovardhan, who in turn killed Ravinder with help of his friend Nagaraju,” said the police.
Dundigal inspector B Sankaraiah said Yashovardhan was taken into custody and questioned. Based on his confession, Ravinder’s mortal remains have been exhumed on Saturday and sent to Forensic Science Laboratory for analysis.
