HYDERABAD: Arrangements have been made for re-polling in Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad teachers constituency on March 19.
GHMC in cooperation with various district administrations has made arrangements for the poll as the elections held on March 9 was cancelled because of a goof-up in printing of photographs of candidates on the ballot paper. Election Commission of India had ordered re-election for MLC seat on March 19.
As many as 12 candidates are in the fray. The polling process will start at 8 am and end at 6 pm. Counting of votes will be taken up from 8 am on March 22 at Amberpet Indoor Stadium and results would be announced the same day.
About 23,789 teachers are listed as voters for Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Teachers constituency. Of them, 13,069 are men and 10,719 are women voters and one in the others category.
