HYDERABAD:Genuine Broaster Chicken, an American chicken brand at Road No.10, Jubilee Hills, is the place to go to if you’re looking for American food with a personalised Indian twist. The owners of the franchise in Hyderabad, a mother-son duo Vandana and Karan Sethe, have given the place the feel of a traditional American diner where you can hang out with a burger and a beer except with a touch of sophistication. Bright red and blue mosaic tiles, stain glass paintings, baseball caps hanging from the ceiling and humorous caricatures donning the walls bring in the American vibe.
This week, chef Tanay Goregaokar announced additions to the menu - five different varieties of chicken wings out of which the Narangi Siracha which as the name proclaims is made with the Siracha sauce that has won the hearts of every spice lover, and the Crusty Cheese Wings which is every cheese lover’s idea of heaven are not to be missed.
The chef also introduced Freakshakes and Summer Coolers. “Our freakshakes are less about the look and garnish. Instead, we focus on the flavour and at the same time, we make sure that the shake looks presentable and appetising.”
How does the chef go about making additions? “The team studies trends in the market and builds around the needs of a customer. We try crazy combinations through experiments and extensive research and try to create an art.”
Coolers like the Coco Mango Mojito, Kokum Twister and Watermelon Local Refresher will help you beat the heat. The Rose Trip freakshake with rose extracts is unique. The Chocolate Wreck freakshake will satisfy every wild chocolate fantasy with Oreo, KitKat and wafers blended to perfection.
