HYDERABAD: An assistant sub-inspector of police working in Yacharam police station, who suffered critical injuries in a road accident last week, died while undergoing treatment on Sunday. The accident took place on May 14, when ASI Y Jangaiah’s bike was hit by a car, when he was taking a turn at Sagar Ring Road. The ASI suffered critical injuries to his brain and spine and was rushed to a nearby private hospital and then shifted to Kamineni hospital, where he succumbed on Sunday.
