12 FIRs filed, 41 nabbed by SHE teams in Rachakonda

A 26-year-old woman farmer was allegedly molested by a fellow villager at Manchal village in Telangana. The accused had allegedly touched her in an inappropriate manner in front of her house while talking to a neighbour. The accused has been arrested by Rachakonda SHE Teams.

HYDERABAD: A 26-year-old woman farmer was allegedly molested by a fellow villager at Manchal village in Telangana. The accused had allegedly touched her in an inappropriate manner in front of her house while talking to a neighbour. The accused has been arrested by Rachakonda SHE Teams.
The SHE teams also apprehended 40 others in 29 eve-teasing, harassment and stalking cases. Police have booked 12 FIRs and 17 petty cases in November based on the complaints received from the victims in which four minors were also apprehended.

In another case, a 21-year-old woman working at a company in Nacharam was being harassed by her colleague G Ramesh (28) of Khajipet in Warangal district. Ramesh developed friendship with the woman and with dishonest intention, he took pictures along with her. He then used those to blackmail her to have physical relationship with him.

As she refused, he threatened to post them online. He took the woman to his room and molested her. Further, as he assured to delete the pictures, if she gives him money, the woman gave her debit card to Ramesh. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case has been booked against Ramesh under Secs 354, 354 (D) and 506 of IPC. In another case, a 19-year-old girl studying intermediate second year at Hayathnagar was harassed by a cab driver. The accused Malloori Naveen Kumar, was arrested under Secs 354 (D) and 506 of IPC.

SHE FOR HER goes in rescue of a student
A girl student working in Prathibha College at Ghatkesar complained that a cabbie was harassing her for last three months asking her to love him. She had refused but he did not stop. A case was booked against him under Sec 70 (c) of City Police Act at Ghatkesar and was produced before the court.
