HYDERABAD: The Town Planning wing of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued 15,777 of building permissions and generated income of `647.02 crore towards building permit fee, development charges and betterment charges.
Whereas, during 2016-17 about 8,704 permissions were issued and collected `525.53 crore. Of the 15,777 building permissions issued, 14,526 were individual buildings, 1,005 residential apartments and 99 high rise commercial projects. Apart from the above, an amount of `167.04 crore was collected from disposal of Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) applications during 2017-18.
