Time for revamp: IAS officers reshuffled in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation

The State government and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) authorities made some changes to the units being handled by various IAS officers in the corporation.

HYDERABAD: In a late night development on Tuesday, the State government and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) authorities made some changes to the units being handled by various IAS officers in the corporation.

Veterinary and sweeping machines department has been handed over to Md Musharraf Ali Faruqui, who is Additional Commissioner IT and Special Project Director.Shruti Ojha, Additional Commissioner, NUHM, Entomology, has been asked to look after sanitation and MSW as additional subjects. Transport and overall health have been allotted to Sikta Patnaik, Additional Commissioner.

N Ravi Kiran, Additional Commissioner, has been directed to look after Construction and Demolition Waste.Additional Commissioner Bharati Holiker was given additional charge and appointed as special officer of lake rejuvenation in the GHMC and CEO for Musi Riverfront Development Corporation limited.
It was learnt that some IAS officers were sulking that they were not given vital posts during the reshuffle.
