HYDERABAD: Divya Treiyam, a trilogy of dance ballets performed at Ravindra Bharathi this weekend was a sight to behold. Organised by Shankarananda Kalakshetra, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Government of Telangana the performance was conceptualised by Usha RK. The evening featured six solo dance performances by artistes across the country.

The concept came to Usha when she read the book The Spiritual Significance of Flowers which explains how each deity loves different flowers. A single orchestra with renowned musicians provided live music to the show. The program, presented three sets with two solo performances in each category - Divya Pushpam (Japaa Pushpa and Parijata Pushpa), Divya Astraa (Brahma Astraa and Sudarshana Astraa) and Divya Vahana (Garuda Vahana and Nandi Vahana).

The line-up comprises Tanya Saxena, Matangi Prasanna, Pavitra Bhat, Mithun Shyam, Shivaranjani Harish and Rasika Kiran. With such talent adorning the stage, the guests were treated to a splendid performance.
