HYDERABAD: Alleged depression over financial problems, forced a newly wed couple to end their lives in Vikarabad district. Dappu Mallesh and his wife Dappu Jyothi, who got married four months ago, were found hanging to a tree, in their fields said police.

Police said, Mallesh and Jyothi were in relation for a year and four months ago, after communicating about their relation to their families, they got married at a temple, in presence of both families. After marriage, the couple were residing in Kankal village in Pudur mandal in the district. Mallesh who was earlier working as an agricultural labourer, started a mechanic shop in the village and made living out of it.
But the earnings from Mallesh’s shop were not sufficient, due to which they were financially burdened.

Meanwhile, on Sunday morning fellow farmers found Mallesh and Jyothi hanging to a tree in one of the fields and informed their families and police.  Jyothi’s mother Mangamma said,”Many times, when I offered to help, they refused saying that they will earn on their own and make it good in life.”
