HYDERABAD: Is it possible that in just one 90-minute session, you can identify the root cause of the issue you are struggling with and then resolve it with no chance of it coming back? Yes, through Rapid Transformative Therapy (RTT), says Sahana Rabindranath, founder of SwitchNov, a therapy centre that focuses on bringing about quick behavioural transformation in people. With over 20 years’ experience in self- development and training, Sahana says she is the first certified practitioner for Rapid Transformative Therapy (RTT) in India.

RTT is a therapy that combines the principles of Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Psychotherapy and other Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. Developed by the highly acclaimed Marisa Peer who has fine-tuned this method over 30 years, RTT is a unique treatment that aims to deliver permanent, rapid change in just 5 to 7 sessions, she explains.

“With RTT you can become free of complications such as depression, anxiety, sleep deprivation, addiction, confidence issues, weight issues and phobias quickly, unlike usual therapy methods that might take months for any positive results to show. RTT enables the mind to tell the body what to do and this leads to permanent, powerful change,” she adds.

As a professional therapist and transformational coach, Sahana  with her workspace in Himayathnagar has a deep interest in holistic wellness and has coached over 5,000 individuals so far. She has a chat with them, finds out their background, asks them if they want to get rid of – example nail biting, smoking, overeating etc. Then the client goes through a session where she plays a pre-recorded audio tape which is almost like a hypnosis session. After six sessions, the patients are sent back with the audio recording that they have to listen to for 21 days (30 mins per day) and Sahana follows up with them over this time period.

She also conducted a sleep well workshop where she helped people understand how to get better and restful sleep. “From getting rid of the fear of public speaking  to  time management skills and examination stress, everything is about the way we train our mind and that is what we help you to do here. I also help children get ride of bed wetting, nail biting etc,” she says.
