Telangana's 'Wright Brothers' successfully test self-designed radio-controlled unmanned aircraft

HYDERABAD: In a first, Osmania University College of Engineering (OUCE) students have successfully designed, fabricated and tested three radio-controlled unmanned aircraft.

Three independent teams of seven students each were involved in developing the three different unmanned aircraft names as Phoenix, Pegasus and Gryphons. The project was completed under the supervision of OUCE Faculty Dr V Uma Maheshwar.

The three teams along with Maheshwar are currently in Chennai Participating in SAE ISS Aero Design Challenge 2019 Competition scheduled between July 19-21, 2019 at SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
