KOCHI: The Garshom Awards instituted by Garshom Infomedia Ltd for the year 2010 were announced here on Saturday. Sageer Thrikkarippoor (Kuwait) has bagged the Pravasi Ratna Award. The other winners are Sunitha Krishnan (Hyderabad)- Garshom Pravasi Women Award, V C Praveen (Chennai)- Garshom Young Pravasi Award, S Ahmed (Thiruvananthapuram)- Garshom Pravasi Returnee Award and T A Ramesh (Kuwait)- Special Jury Award.
The awards will be presented to the winners in a colourful ceremony that will be held at the Dalmia Indian Community School, Kuwait on May 27.
