KOCHI: Here’s an initiative against noise pollution from the students. ‘Horn Not OK Please’, a poster designing competition is being organised by the Kochi chapter of Young Indians (Yi) with the support of Muthoot Environment Research Foundation (MERF).  The poster designing competition for school and college students will be held at the TocH School Auditorium, Vytilla on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 noon. Yi, an  integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), aims at creating a platform for youngsters.   The competition is for students in the age group of 12-21 years. A maximum of 20  students from a school or college can participate in the competition. The first three winners will be given cash awards of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 2,500 respectively.  All participants will be given free gifts.   Interested students should send in registrations to yi.hnop@gmail.com.
