Training session held

The Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre Kochi organised a skill training session on Basic Life Support for 50 Student Police Cadets from S N Higher Secondary School.

The session was inaugurated by Baby Vinod, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ernakulam.

The training was organised in connection with Amritavarsham 60.

M M Stanley, circle-inspector, Traffic Division, Ernakulam and Suresh, Community Police Officer, S N Higher Secondary School, Ayyappankavu, Dr Prem Nair, Medical Director, AIMS and Sai Bala, Nursing Director, AIMS were also present.

The young cadets were trained in the basic skills of BLS to effectively enable them in managing emergency.

Skills were demonstrated by Praveen V P, lecturer, Amrita College of Nursing and his team at the meet.
