Edappally Sangeetha Sadas is organizing a classical album audio release and a vocal concert on Saturday. The album titled Nidra- Music for a Good Sleep is a carnatic music album that intends to provide mental solace to the listeners in this age of surging tensions. The main artist behind the album is a young carnatic vocalist Sreeranjini Kodampally. Sreeranjini, who hails from a traditional music family has won several laurels in music.
She has conducted hundreds of concerts in different parts of the country. Sreeranjini is also the winner of 2009 Kerala Government Chembai Award.
The music album is released by Satyam Audios.
Music director Vidhyadharan master will hand over the copies of the album to N Hari, senior mridangam artist, All India Radio; T H Lalitha, senior violin artist, All India Radio and to Kaithapram Vishwanathan Namboothiri.
After the release function, there is a carnatic vocal concert by Sreeranjini.
