IMMAGINE, through the Third Eye

IMMAGINE, a facebook group that promotes creative photography, will organise an exhibition and workshop on photography at Kottayam IMA Hall on Saturday.

IMMAGINE is a facebook page managed by Manoj K B and Rajeev Somasekharan to promote aspiring photographers.

The first workshop was held in Thiruvananthapuram in February and was attended by 40 budding photographers.

According to the organisers, the registration of the workshop will start by 9 am on Saturday.

Prashanth Mohan, an award-winning photographer, cinematographer and documentary filmmaker will initiate the first session titled “Beyond Auto”.

The second session “I for Image” will be handled by Arun Kunjunny.

The chief guest, Deepak John Mathew, senior professor at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, will hold an interactive session at 3.30 pm.

A live photography contest will also be held.

The maximum number of participants has been fixed at 50 and the registration fee for a single participant is Rs 250.

School students, who will be selected on the basis of their photography skills, need not pay any registration fees.

Photographs that won prizes in online contests conducted by IMMAGINE will also be exhibited.
