Arab Students Learn About Ayurveda

KOCHI: Eighteen students and four teachers from various universities in Kuwait visited Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital as part of Continuing Ayurveda Awareness Programme (CAAP).

The team visited herb gardens and interacted with patients from different countries to get a better awareness about Ayurveda treatment. Dr A M Anwar, MD, Punarnava and Jaseela Anwar, medical director, led the classes. “In an age where there is a startling influx of lifestyle diseases, we are now aware that there is a need to utilize food-medicine lifestyles and there is a greater significance of benefiting from traditional health values for healthcare,” said Jameela Al Murad, team leader and teacher.

Ayurveda is a complete science and we are here because it is inevitable to take it to the further generations, she added.
