KOCHI: Vensec, a Venmoney-based non-profit charity organisation, along with the Students Police Cadet (SPC) of S N Trust Higher Secondary School, Ala, has scripted a success story by harvesting organic vegetables on the school premises.
The harvest was inaugurated by Vensec chairman Koshy Samuel and Cheriyanad panchayat president K Radhamma Teacher.
Different verities of long beans, ladies finger, soybean, ‘navara’ paddy and snake gourd are cultivated at the school by the SPC with financial aid from Vensec.
School principal Prasanna Kumar, SPC in-charge B Babu, ASI Suresh Kumar, Vensec administrator Jibu T John and others were present.
