‘Sai Sparsh’ sutism centre opened

The ‘Sai Sparsh’ Free Autism School and Training Centre began functioning at Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust’s zonal office building at Parameswaran Nair Road in Palachuvadu, Padamugal here.

KOCHI: The ‘Sai Sparsh’ Free Autism School and Training Centre began functioning at Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust’s zonal office building at Parameswaran Nair Road in Palachuvadu, Padamugal here.
Retired Judge of the Kerala High Court, Justice  C N Ramachandran Nair on Thursday inaugurated the centre at a function presided over by Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust founder and executive director K N Anandakumar. Neenu K K, chairperson, Thrikkakara Municipality; T N Neelakandan, vice president, Petronet and P M Salim, ward councillor, Thrikkakara attended the function.


The centre conducts training courses for  parents of autistic children. The trust plans to open more such centres across the state, said a release. Earlier, the trust had opened an autism school and training centre at Sai Gramam at Thonnakkal in Thiruvananthapuram.
