KOCHI: The Ernakulam district wise campaign of UDF central zone rally ended in Kochi on Friday. After a reception at Vypeen, the rally  will enter Thrissur on Saturday. The campaign at Ernakulam had started last Tuesday. Led by V D Satheeshan MLA, the rally raised slogans against the anti people policies of the Central and state governments.

The Congress-led UDF had organised similar rallies at all the major zones. The campaign was inaugurated by Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala on February 12 at Charummoodu in Alappuzha.
Unemployment started to grip the country soon after the demonetisation drive by the Modi-led Government, Satheeshan said. The informal economy of the country has been totally shattered, he said.

“The crisis in the agriculture and small enterprises sector is deepening and it’s bull dozing the people and destabilising even institutions like RBI. Likewise, the state government has also failed in preventing price hike. The distribution of ration has been affected. The feud between the top administrative officials of the government has left the governance in a paralysed state. History will record Pinarayi Vijayan as an utter failure as Chief Minister,” alleged Satheeshan.
The constant infighting between the two major constituents of LDF, the CPM and CPI was also mentioned by Satheeshan.
