KOCHI: The Cusat has invited online applications for new BTech (part time) courses in chemical engineering, civil engineering and mechanical engineering. Candidates having three-year diploma in chemical, civil and mechanical or related subjects with 50 per cent marks and working in government, quasi-government organisations, industrial units registered under the Companies Act, polytechnic, ITI or engineering college are eligible to apply.
Classes for the seven-semester course will be conducted at the School of Engineering of the varsity at Thrikkakara from 5.30 pm to 9 pm.Admission fee is Rs 42,585. The last date for submission of online application through website www.cusat.ac.in is August 4.
Application fee is Rs 1000 for general candidtaes and Rs 500 for SC/ST. A hard copy of the filled in application and DD drawn in favour of Registrar payable at Ernakulam should reach the Office of the Director, IRAA, Cusat, Kochi-22, on or before August 7.
