KOCHI: Engaged in the design, production and commercialisation of products for the bathroom space, as well as ceramic floor and wall tiles for architecture, building and interior design, Roca recently launched India’s first Roca and Parryware display studio in Kochi which is supposed to be the second one in India. With this move, the company intends to reinforce its focus in kerala market.KE Ranganathan, Managing Director, Roca Bathroom Products inaugurated Roca-Parryware Display studio in the presence of renowned architects, developers and trade associates.

Spread across 4,000 sq. feet, the beautifully designed studio is a hub of innovative bathroom concepts to take inspiration from. The studio is a one stop shop with complete bathroom offerings on showcase from both brands, highlighting their strengths - design, comfort, functionality, and energy and water saving properties. Live demonstations for many products are on exhibit for the customer to get a first-hand touch and feel. “ The studio gives a new experience to the customers where people get to know the quality of the products as the technologies have been upgraded to the customer’s choice. It is also the best way to display the expertise of the artists themselves ,” said Ranganathan, the managing director of Roca.

The studio has a unique collection of products which is designed in such a way that it helps in conserving water. Parryware and Roca have together developed this product which is the first of its kind in India. Technology takes center stage at the studio with an array of smart toilets and innovations such as W+W, rimless technology and all new fineceramic. A step beyond the conventionally basic colours available in the market, Parryware colour story is on exhibit with model bathrooms and explores an array of fresh hues that will alleviate the bathroom experience. 

Roca’s corporate social responsibility plan (CSR) emphasises on the need for providing adequate sanitation facilities across the country. The project started on June 15, 2017 and was completed within 15 days after the complete renovation of 12 toilets in schools in places such as Uttar Pradesh, Chennai and Vijayawada. “We have a global foundation ‘ We are water’  under which we have constructed community toilets and wells in villages,” said Ranganathan.

As part of the initiative, the group donated a complete range of products required for the project including faucets, valves, WCs, toilet seats, sinks etc. As part of remodelling the school’s bathroom infrastructure, Parryware’s coloured bathroom fittings have also been installed to provide a brighter and more joyous ambience for the school kids.
