KOCHI: A professional burglar, involved in several cases of theft here, on Friday was detained by the City police under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA) . It is Biju alias ‘Titanic’ Biju alias Shameer, 37, hailing from Kundara, who was taken into custody by a team headed by Circle Inspector A Ananthalal. City Police Commissioner(CP) M P Dinesh had recently submitted a report to District Collector K Muhammad Y Safeerulla seeking his nod to invoke KAAPA provisions against Biju.
