Wildlife Week Contests

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the wildlife week observation in the city, Forest and Wildlife Department is coming up with a poster designing contest for the public, with a view to spread the message of wildlife conservation.

The work can be designed with acrylic, water colour and poster mediums in an A3 sheet of paper. The posters should convey the theme ‘Conservation of flora and fauna’. The poster designs could be sent sealed within cardboard tubes to avoid tear, with the cover marking ‘Poster Designing Competition-2015’ as the subject. The name and full address of the candidate sending the entry should be mentioned on the cover. The entries should be addressed to Deputy Forest Conservator(Wildlife Headquarters, Vazhuthacaud,   Thiruvananthapuram -695014. Entries receiving the first, second and third prizes will receive cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 1,500 respectively, and the winning entries will be published by the forest department.   For more details, contact 0471-2529319/04712529323 or visit www.forest.kerala.gov.in.
