Media Study Camp from Saturday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Media Academy will organise a media study camp for college students at the Rotary Hall, Kayamkulam on September 26 and 27. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will attend the meet-the-minister programme as part of the event on September 27.

Academy chairman Sergi Antony will deliver the introductory address on September 26 at 2 pm. K Ajith will speak on ‘Visual media journalism’ at 2.30 pm, followed by a session by K Hemalatha.S Harikrishnan will lead the class on newspaper editing on September 27 at 9 am. N K Premachandran MP will attend the meet-the-guest programme at 10.45 am.

A A Hakeem will lead the session on ‘Basics of communication’ at 11.15 am. Meet-the-minister with Ramesh Chennithala will be held at 12.45 pm. K E Antony John will take class on reporting techniques. Oil Palm India chairman Sheik P Harris will distribute certificates and prizes for the winners in various contests.
