FameLab south India finals results

Prabahan Chakraborty of National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru has been adjudged winner of the South India finals of FameLab, a global science communication competition held in the capital

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prabahan Chakraborty of National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru has been adjudged winner of the South India finals of FameLab, a global science communication competition held in the capital on Wednesday.  

While Rini Sharon from  IIT Madras emerged second, Gayathri Shankar from MG College, Thiruvananthapuram, won the third prize. All the winners will be eligible to participate in the India Finals to be held in Pune in January 2017.  

The competition was organised by the British Council, in association with University of Kerala and Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE).       
The all-India winners will represent the country in the FameLab International Grand Finale to be held in the UK.
