The plan envisages seminars and workshops at the district level, as per the demands raised at the December 7 meeting of the trade union leaders. It has also been decided to elevate KILE into a national-level institute. For this, KILE campus will be made functional and training and research will be held for workers.

Research focussing on issues concerning women workers, IT, job-related ailments, plantation, crises in traditional employment sectors, other state workers and about enhancing productivity of employees will be undertaken. In view of new trends, training and guidelines will be provided to the autorickshaw and taxi drivers.
