International Film Festival of Kerala 2017: Cine artists to exhibit their drawings

A painting exhibition with a difference will be held in the city to coincide with the schedule of the 22nd International Film Festival of Kerala.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A painting exhibition with a difference will be held in the city to coincide with the schedule of the 22nd International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). Forty-five artists from Malayalam cinema will showcase their artistic skills on canvas at the exhibition to be held at Kanakakunnu Palace from December 9 to 14.

Those participating in the exhibition include K G George, Hariharan, Renji Paniker, Menaka Suresh, Sheela, Sreeraman, Kitho, Ramachandra Babu, J R Prasad, K Krishnankutty, K Jayakumar, Nemom Pushparaj, Venu MA and Preman. Acrylic paintings of 4x3 size will be displayed inside the palace.
The exhibition ‘Beyond Canvas 2017’ is being organised by ‘The Artspace Foundation Kerala’, a socio cultural organisation.
