THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Anyone who uses a mobile phone would know how frustrating a  pesky marketing call or SMS can be. But, here is a product that is potential enough to silently redefine the marketing sector of big companies without infringing the personal space or freedom of the customers.  
Netherlands-headquartered Flytxt firm in Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, which employs around 400 software professionals, has developed a first-of-its-kind product Robo-X which help even least experienced marketers to provide customized value-added service to every single customer using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Speaking to Express, Vinod Vasudevan, Group CEO of Flytxt, a  Gorakhpur IIT graduate who did his PhD in machine learning way back in 90’s, said Robo-X is based on more than 20 patented technologies developed over several years of research in association with IIT, Delhi, Mumbai and TNO in the Netherlands. The software which uses the machine-learning algorithms in artificial intelligence platform will study the customer, his pattern of use and discover important relations between consumers, products, offers, channels and competitive environment and how they impact business outcomes.

For instance, if you are a subscriber of a particular mobile company, it can monitor your pattern of use, your preference, likes and so on and suggest products or service in sync with the taste and preference of customer which eventually satisfy both the customer and service-providing company. The only condition is that the company which uses the software should have a large customer base. And the new product can be used in any sector which has a good customer base, he said.

Having worked in California with a start-up during the 1998-2002 period, Vinod says “We have enough talent and what we require is to channelise the talent to the right direction. We are very much happy to come out with a product from Kerala which has a world-over market.”

Robo-X is an add-on module to the company’s market-leading, flagship product NEON-dX, which is already delivering 2-7% uplift on net revenue for more than 100 clients of Flytxt around the world, including 60-plus telecoms operators, such as Vodafone Group in India.

The product also increases the agility and scale of marketing, allowing even a less experienced marketer to become highly effective in maximizing the value of each customer interaction. Robo-X, which act as a force multiplier, increasing uplifts in revenue through campaigns run on NEON-dX, is one example of how society is witnessing the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The powerful amalgamation of technologies, such as Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, is influencing so many aspects of our lives, both personally and professionally, he added.
The product will officially launch in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
