THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala University will publish all pending exam results by July, Education Minister C Raveendranath told the Assembly on Tuesday.
The MG University had recently published the results just 12 days after the exams, the minister said at the end of discussions on the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (Amendment) Bill, the Kerala University (Alternate Arrangements Temporarily of the Senate and the Syndicate) Bill and the Kerala University (Amendment) Bill.
The timely announcement of exam results takes universities a step closer to their overall development.
‘New Senate in 6 months’
The new Senate and Syndicate in the Kerala University would be constituted within six months, he said.
The bill on alternative arrangements for the senate and syndicate in Kerala University had become inevitable following court intervention.
This will be valid for six months. Raveendranath denied Opposition charges that the amendments were introduced with ulterior motives.
