VIJAYAWADA: Krishna region of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) is making all efforts to propagate its one-day tour package to Polavaram on every Sunday from July 16. A poster in this regard was launched by RTC executive directors A Koteswara Rao and N Venkateswara Rao on Saturday.
According to RTC officials, the package tour was thrown open to the public on Sunday and RTC officials are expecting good patronage from passengers this year. The package includes a bus journey from Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) in Vijayawada by 6:30 am to Polavaram. In the return direction, the passengers will be dropped at PNBS by 8:30 pm on the same day. Bus fare for an adult (Express) is `385 while for a child it is `295.
Special package was also designed for passengers in large number willing to travel in the same bus with their family members. The bus will directly operate from the respective passengers’ desired locality under Vijayawada city limits.
