VIJAYAWADA: Hundreds of students visited the education fair being organised by Ripples Educational Services at Vedika Function Hall in Vijayawada on Friday.

The two-day fair will conclude on Saturday.

Around eight private colleges from across the country have put up stalls at the fair to give information to students on the courses, campuses, infrastructure, laboratories and other facilities.

New Delhi-based NIIT, Punjab-based GNA college, Lingaya's college, Bennett University in Greater Noida, ICFAI College of Dehradun, Rai Technology University in Bangalore and Haryana-based Great Lakes University are participating in the fair.

Many students who have completed Intermediate courses in and around the city visited the fair and enquired about the colleges which are providing courses in engineering, agricultural sciences and business management.

"I have completed my Intermediate in Sri Chaitanya College in Vijayawada. I want to study courses related to banking and finance. So, I am here to visit the ICFAI stall to know about the college," U Sravana Bhargavi said.

"Our aim is to provide complete information of private colleges across the country. Ripple is a private consultancy which provides educational services to students," B Santosh Kumar of Ripple Educational Services said.
