Chandrababu Naidu, Amit Shah flag off five ambulances

VIJAYAWADA: BJP national president Amit Shah along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu flagged off five advanced life support ambulances donated by Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu using his MPLADS funds at Gannavaram Airport  on Thursday. 

Speaking after the launch of the ambulances, Suresh Prabhu stated that these ambulances are meant to reach out to the people in medical emergencies.

The advanced life support ambulances are equipped with telemedicine facility and all the required medical equipment. Trained paramedical staff will be available with the ambulances round the clock. These ambulances will be run under the 108 service of the State government. In all, 13 ambulances will be provided, one for each district in the State, he said.

Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and Y S Chowdary, Ministers Kamineni Srinivas, P Manikyala Rao, BJP Mahila Morcha in-charge D Purandeswari, Narsapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, MLAs Vishnu Kumar Raju, Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan and Bode Prasad and Mayor Koneru Sreedhar were present on the occasion.

Life support system 
The Advanced Life Support Ambulances are equipped with telemedicine facility

The ambulances will be run under 108 service of the State government
