VIJAYAWADA: In a shocking incident, a six-year-old girl was sexually abused by her uncle for more than an year. According to sources, when the girl complained of severe pain in her private parts on Tuesday, her parents admitted her to a nearby hospital. The doctors who examined her said that she had been sexually abused. The parents of the girl lodged a complaint with the Ghantasala police late on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the accused Syam Paul (30), is a resident of Ghantasala town. He is working as an English teacher in a private school at Vakkalagadda village. The accused used to invite his niece to his house by luring her with chocolates and toys and abuse her sexually.
The police took the accused into custody.
