VIJAYAWADA: With an objective to create awareness among the public about the progress of various government projects in Amaravati, Amaravati Runners in association with Amaravati Smart and Sustainable City Corporation Limited (ASSCCL) is organising ‘City Run 2018’.
The run will begin from the APCRDA Administration Building, Seed Access Road, near Rayapudi, on December 16.
ASSCCL chief executive officer S Shanmohanu, along with Amaravati Runners president R Ramesh unveiled the posters of the event at a programme organised at the ASSCCL office here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that event will be conducted in two categories- Half Marathon and 10k Run. Participants interested should report for the Half Marathon event at 5.30 am. Those interested 10k Run should report at the venue at 7 am. The registration fee is `500.
