VIJAYAWADA:  The police arrested seven offenders, including four minors, and recovered four mobile phones worth `58,000 and three motorcycles from them. DCP (Crime) Shereen Begum said the central crime station (CCS) sleuths arrested the seven accused while they were moving suspiciously near NTR Complex.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, DCP Shereen Begum said the three accused and four other minors are school dropouts and addicted to vices. They formed as a team to earn easy money. “They come on bikes, snatch the phones by diverting the victims’ attention. The gang has committed four crimes under various police station limits in the city,” the DCP said.
