VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada city police on Sunday released photographs of two people accused of attacking a woman in her house with blades at Achari Vari Street in Satyanarayanapuram on Friday.
After verifying the videos obtained from the CCTV cameras installed in the colony, police identified the accused and released their photos to the media.
On Friday, two miscreants barged into the house of Uppuluri Padmavathi (52) around 2 pm and attacked her with blades and escaped after seeing neighbours coming to her rescue.
The accused are believed to belong to one of the Rajasthan robbery gangs. “We think that the accused belong to a Rajasthan robbery gang. They conducted a recce of the house before attacking the woman. ,” said Satyanarayanapuram CI.
