VIJAYAWADA: On humanitarian grounds, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu sanctioned Rs15 lakh for the treatment of Annikapati Ajay Kumar of Venugopala Nagar in Anantapur district on Sunday.
When the parents of 32-year old Ajay, who has been suffering from a nervous disorder, met the Chief Minister at his residence in Undavalli on Sunday and explained the condition of their son who has speech disorder and a dysfunctional right hand. They said that their son has been suffering in such a manner ever since he got brain fever.
Explaining his financial inability, Ajay’s father Sriramulu, who runs a small flour mill, said that they are having Ajay treated by Bangalore-based doctor Ravi Gopal and they were informed that their son’s right hand can be made normal with an imported medical device.
