Disclose expenses of CM’s  political trips: GVL Narasimha Rao to government

In a press meet here on Friday, the BJP MP said Naidu should spend money from his party fund if he wanted to go to various places for his political agendas.

VIJAYAWADA: As Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been touring various States to garner support for a non-BJP front at the Centre, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao has alleged that the TDP supremo is misusing public money for political trips. He demanded the government to make public the details of the expenditure accrued due to Naidu’s tours, adding that his party would move court, if necessary, in this regard.

In a press meet here on Friday, the BJP MP said Naidu should spend money from his party fund if he wanted to go to various places for his political agendas.“He can’t misuse public money by splurging it on special flights, star hotels and other comforts, while meeting his political friends. If any official from the State government sanctions funds for these trips, he/she will also be held accountable,” he said. He added that the TDP chief was State-hopping as the latter was aware that his party would lose in the upcoming elections.
