District-level children’s science congress held

The students had come up with innovative ideas regarding mangrove vegetation, wastewater recycling with natural products, converting plaster of paris into fertiliser for crops etc.

VIJAYAWADA: District-level 26th National Children’s Science Congress-2018 took place at AP State Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) on Monday. Students from various government and private schools from across the district took part in the science congress and showcased their projects.

A 14-member panel evaluated over 200 projects and shortlisted 24 of them.

Out of the shortlisted projects, only 13 will be selected for the State-level science congress before November 23.
