Hyderabad HC Chief Justice happy over progress of Andhra Pradesh High Court

 Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice TB Radhakrishnan visited Amaravati on Saturday and inspected the ongoing construction works of the judicial complex.

VIJAYAWADA:   Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice TB Radhakrishnan visited Amaravati on Saturday and inspected the ongoing construction works of the judicial complex. He inspected the works and enquired about the central structure of the complex. CRDA officials explained to him that glass panes would be arranged there. The Chief Justice made certain suggestions and enquired about the furniture, court hall design, judges chambers, advocate offices, full court meeting hall and others. 

Officials also informed him about the entrances for judges, advocates and people into the court. On the occasion, a power point presentation was made regarding the capital city, designs of iconic building to house the High Court and judicial complex. Later, the Chief Justice also inspected the houses under construction for judges and IAS officers. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed satisfaction over the progress in the construction of the judicial complex and said the works look to be completed as per schedule.

With regard to shifting of the High Court to Amaravati, he said once the notification is issued by Supreme Court, necessary measures would be taken. Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana, High Court portfolio judge Justice V Ramasubramanian, High Court judges Justice C Praveen Kumar, Justice SV Bhatt, Justice AV Sesha Sai, Justice T Sunil Chowdary, Justice M Satyanarayana Murthy and others were present.

Later in the day, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met the High Court Chief Justice and other judges at a private hotel in Vijayawada and apprised them about the progress in the construction of the judicial complex.  “The Chief Justice is satisfied with the construction works of the judicial complex. The works will be completed by December and the complex will be ready for inauguration by January. It will house the High Court temporarily and later foundation stone will be laid for the iconic building to house the High Court and its construction will be completed in two years,” Naidu said. On shifting of the High Court, the CM said once the Supreme Court issues a notification, the shifting process will be  commenced. CRDA officials are in touch with High Court judges.
