VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada commissioner of police (CP) Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao suspended Penamalur police station circle inspector (CI) V Peddiraju on Wednesday after his involvement in a civil case was proven.
“Instead of conducting proper investigation, the CI threatened the man who lost his land. After looking into it, the CP took proper action,” sources said.
