Jagga Jasoos
The musical detective story starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif directed by Anurag Basu is also hitting theaters in 2017. Anurag Basu’s earlier film Barfi was quite an experience for the Indian audience with its cartoonish characters and picturesque cinematography. Even though there were many people questioning the originality of the script, the making of the film and the performances were a notch above the rest. With a budget of `35 crore, the film is made in English, Hindi and Malayalam. Kunal Kapoor plays the central character of Chandhu Chekavar, a 13th century North Malabar warrior. This film is the fifth installment in Jayaraj’s Navarasa series. The film was premiered at the BRICS Film Festival earlier in 2016
