KARIMNAGAR: The election in Karimnagar is a fight between the rich and the poor, says Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP candidate from Karimnagar. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Kumar claimed the TRS government stalled many development works in Karimnagar.

Q. What will be your priorities, if you come to power?

A. The Centre has declared Karimnagar a Smart City. However, the TRS government has stalled many development projects in the city. Additionally, I will improve the law & order situation here; Karimnagar will become a safer place for its citizens.

Q. Where will the funds for this development come from?

A. The Centre has given ample funds to the State government. But the State government has hidden this fact from the public to take all the credit. Bommakal village alone has received funds worth Rs 2.20 crore.

Q. Is there any plan to remove Eidgah at One Town?

A. Not just the Eidgah, we will remove any temple or church that hinders development. We will take the help of all religious communities for this purpose.

Q. What’s your strategy?

A. We have done road shows and door-to-door campaigns in all but two of 50 divisions.
