HYDERABAD: While exit polls are making a variety of predictions, Congress leaders remain confident of emerging victorious over the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. TPCC working president Revanth Reddy claimed that the TRS party was built on a ‘foundation of treachery and it will fall like a house of cards once the results are announced. “The angry people of Telangana will bury TRS,” he said.

Speaking to media persons in Kodangal after polling ended, Reddy claimed that TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao ruled the State in a way that the common people had lost their trust in the government. “He (KCR) failed to live up to the people’s expectations. He was never keen on working with the Opposition - he never listened to our suggestions. In fact, he did not even trust his ministers. He ruled amid complete chaos and distrust,” he said. Reddy claimed that this misgovernance had turned the people against him. “When the results are announced, and they lose, TRS will crumble like a house of cards,” he said.

“KCR’s 52-month rule was marked by betrayal. The silent revolution in people will bury it. After results, TRS will be left with only few defected  leaders, contractors and paid politicians. KCR will rest in farm house and his son KTR will run away to America. Finally, Harish’s wish of leading the party will be fulfilled.

At least now, he should change his cunning nature and work as a responsible Opposition leader,” mocked Revanth. Revanth also found fault with the Owaisis for supporting TRS and said that Asaduddin Owaisi had lost his credibility. “Though Owaisi campaigned for TRS, Minorities did not vote for them, proving that Owaisi has indeed lost his credibility,” he said.
