KARIMNAGAR: With the votes of the Kapu community being a potential deciding factor in Karimnagar, Congress and TRS leaders are currently moving with the objective of pleasing the community. A recent statement by a community leader at Munnuru Kapu Ashirwada Sabha, thanking TRS leader Gangula Kamalakar for providing funds to develop the Kapu Bhavan, irked a few Congress leaders. The Congress claims that the funds were actually allotted by Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar in 2016.
