HYDERABAD: After a long delay, TRS on late Wednesday evening announced 10 more candidates in its latest list. The much-awaited Khairatabad constituency ticket been given to Congress turncoat Danam Nagendar. NRI Saidi Reddy has been entrusted the job of fighting against TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy in Huzurnagar, not taking into consideration martyr Srikantha Chary’s mother Shankaramma’s dissent.
Malkajgiri MP Ch Malla Reddy has been given the Medchal ticket, replacing sitting MLA M Sudheer Reddy. Malkajgiri seat has been given to Mynampally Hanumantha Rao replacing sitting MLA Kanaka Reddy.
With this fresh list, TRS has announced candidates for a total of 117 constituencies, with just Musheerabad and Kodad remaining.
As KCR’s close aide and minister Naini Narasimha Reddy is bargaining hard for Musheerabad seat to be given to his Corporator son-in-law V Srinivasa Reddy, the TRS chief is said to be in a fix. TRS party BC cell president Mutha Gopal is also in the race for Musheerabad. For Kodad, KCR wishes to field a strong opponent against TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy’s wife Padmavati Reddy who is the Congress candidate for the constituency.
