HYDERABAD:  A day after he called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘liar and fool’, TRS chief  K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday tore apart Congress leaders and called them “useless and brainless fellows”. Addressing seven election meetings, Rao described AICC president Rahul Gandhi as ‘Toka (tail) and Tondam (trunk) Gandhi’ while heckling Rahul for having the suffix of ‘Gandhi’ in his name.

Rao termed TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy as ‘useless and brainless fellow’ for running away from a debate on irrigation projects.  He did not even spare Zaheerabad Congress candidate J Geetha Reddy by calling her ‘Peetha (crab) Reddy.’

Rao addressed 58 public meetings till date and has restricted himself to highlight the positive things he did in the last four years.  At his earlier meetings, Rao said that he would not bad-mouth opposition leaders as it was auspicious Karthika masam. But, after the visit of Modi and Rahul, Rao is back to his old ways and blasted them.Rao spoke in Urdu targeting the Muslim audience and said that the Federal Front would form the next government at the Centre and provide reservations to Muslims.

“I have requested Modi several times for providing reservations to Muslims and STs. But the BJP never heeded to our request.  Is  this country “aap ka baap ka Jaagir hai kya?  The monopoly of Congress and BJP should end. Several leaders of regional parties are in touch with me.

Federal Front will form the next government and will realise aspirations of people,’’ Rao declared, evoking a good response from Muslims. “TRS is sure to win 100 seats in the Assembly. It is a foregone conclusion. We should also win all the LS seats. Hyderabad segment will be won by   Asad Bhai. The TRS should win the remaining 16 LS seats to form the next government in Delhi,” he said. Rao advised the Prime Minister to visit ‘Kanti Velugu’ camp to test his eyes as he failed to witness he development in the State.

Reacting to Modi’s allegations that Telangana failed to join the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme,  Rao said at Narsapur that the registration process for the scheme was very lengthy with 50 conditions.  “Even having a two-wheeler is a disqualification to get the health benefit. Several tribals in the State too have two-wheelers now. Only, beggars will benefit from the Centre’s health scheme. Our Arogyasri and CMRF are much better than Ayushman Bharat. Our health schemes are much better than the Centre’s scheme,” Rao said.
