RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Describing the hand of Congress as ‘Basmasura Hastam’, caretaker minister for IT KT Rama Rao said that some people who prevented Telangana formation had now joined their hands with Congress.
After performing pooja at Lord Hanuman Temple at Sarampalli in Thangallapalli mandal, KTR launched his election campaign in his own Assembly constituency Sircilla here on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering at Ankireddypalli, he requested people to vote for TRS. “Ask the Congress partymen what work did they do for the welfare of the people if they seek votes,” said KTR.
To prevent untoward incidents during the meeting, Nerella victims were placed under house arrest by the local police. On other hand, Ghambhiraopet mandal Congress party and TJS party leaders foiled TSCOB chairman Konduri Ravinder Rao’s meeting with self-help group women.
